How we compare
Which tariffs we show
We compare mobile tariffs without a phone (SIM only) from network operators and their brands, discounters and resellers. We read the details every day directly from the providers’ tariff pages. Every new piece of information, every price change and every discontinued tariff is checked before it appears here. We do not include pay-as-you-go tariffs without a base fee, because their price cannot be calculated without knowing your usage. The comparison does not cover the whole market: it includes the providers in our provider list, and we keep adding more. Whether a provider pays us a fee does not decide whether it is included.
How we calculate the price
Sorting is based on the average price per month: all costs over 24 months divided by 24.
- Base fees with all promotional prices, e.g. “€9.99 for 3 months, then €14.99”.
- One-time costs such as an activation fee or starter pack. If the starter pack includes credit, we deduct it.
- Prepaid tariffs billed every 4 weeks are paid 13 times a year, so over 24 months we count 26 billing periods.
- Annual packages count twice.
We do not include conditional benefits such as cashback on request, number porting bonuses or discounts for young people, because not everyone gets them.
Data volume
We state data volume the way the provider does: per month, per 4 weeks or per year. For the filters we convert it to one month. “Unlimited top-ups” means that once your included data is used up you can request more for free, usually 1 GB at a time.
How we fund ourselves
Links to providers may be affiliate links. If you sign a contract through one, we may receive a fee from the provider. Your price stays the same, and it has no influence on the ranking: rank 1 is always the cheapest tariff, even if we get nothing for it.
Limitations
We check the details carefully but cannot rule out errors. The provider’s terms at the time you sign are what counts. Some providers do not say which network they use; in that case “D network” means Telekom or Vodafone.
